The Information We Collect
In general, you can browse our website without telling us who you are or revealing any personal information about yourself. We are, however, able to determine your IP address. We use your IP address to help diagnose problems with our server, to administer our website, to measure the use of our website and to improve the content of our website. In short, we use your IP to gather aggregate demographic information.
We may collect personally identifiable information about you, such as your full name, address, phone number and email address, when you book training or a workshop and/or sign up through Wayfinder Teacher Login for training or professional development and access to Materials. If you choose to purchase Services from us, our third-party payment processors will collect your payment information. We also collect your email address if you sign up for purpose learning news and updates.
We may also collect information through other ways such as through a user's activities and transactions as part of the Services, including the following:
Clear GIFs - We may use “clear GIFs” (a/k/a “Web beacons” or “pixel tags”) or similar technologies, in connection with the Services and/or in our communications (e.g., in our HTML-based e-mails) which enable us to know whether you have visited a web page or received or opened an e-mail. This allows us to know the effectiveness of our marketing campaigns.
IP Address and Clickstream Data - We automatically collect information from your browser when you visit our Services. This information includes your IP address, your browser type and language, access times, the content of any undeleted cookies that your browser previously accepted from us and the referring website address.

We will use the personal information you provide to:

We restrict access to personal information to Project Wayfinder employees, contractors and agents who need to know that information in order to operate, develop or improve our services. These individuals are bound by confidentiality obligations and may be subject to discipline, potentially including termination and criminal prosecution, if they fail to meet these obligations.
Project Wayfinder only shares personal information with other companies or individuals outside of Project Wayfinder in the following limited circumstances:

Project Wayfinder becomes involved in a merger, acquisition, or any form of sale of some or all of its assets, you acknowledge and agree that all information submitted by you, including your personal information, may be transferred as a business asset.

We may share aggregated, non-personal information with third parties, including business advisors, for the purpose of conducting general business analysis.
Choices for Personal Information
You can use the Services without providing any personal information, however, certain parts of the Services, such as signing up for access to the Wayfinder Teacher Login portal, require that you register as a member and provide some personal information as part of the registration process. You also have the right to “opt-in” and “opt-out” of certain uses of your personal information. For example, you may sign up to receive purpose learning news and updates, or you may elect not to receive any future correspondence from us about future training, events or workshops.
Please understand that if you opt-out of receiving promotional correspondence from us, we may still contact you in connection with your relationship, activities, transactions and communications with Project Wayfinder.
Do Not Track Policy
Project Wayfinder does not track your online activities over time and across third-party websites. Because we do not employ tracking technology, we offer no response to “Do Not Track” requests transmitted by web browsers.
We want to communicate with you only if you want to hear from us. If you are interested, we invite you to sign up for purpose learning news and updates. We will send you email relating to your personal transactions. You will also receive certain marketing email communications, in accordance with your preferences, and from which you may opt-out at any time. We may send you service-related announcements on the rare occasions when it is necessary to do so.
Third Party Services
Disclosure of Information
We may disclose user information when compelled to do so by government authorities or otherwise as required or permitted by law, such as to respond to court orders and subpoenas. We also may disclose user information when we have reason to believe that someone is causing injury to or interfering with our rights or property, other customers or users of the Services, or anyone else that could be harmed by such activities.
Accessing and Updating Personal Information
When you use Project Wayfinder services, we make good faith efforts to provide you with access to your personal information and either to correct this data if it is inaccurate or to delete such data at your request if it is not otherwise required to be retained by law or for legitimate business purposes. We ask individual users to identify themselves and the information requested to be accessed, corrected or removed before processing such requests, and we may decline to process requests that are unreasonably repetitive or systematic, require disproportionate technical effort, jeopardize the privacy of others, or would be extremely impractical (for instance, requests concerning information residing on backup tapes), or for which access is not otherwise required. In any case where we provide information access and correction, we perform this service free of charge, except if doing so would require a disproportionate effort. Some of our services have different procedures to access, correct or delete users' personal information.
User accounts are personal to the registered user. In the event of the death of a user, the user’s account will be deactivated. Project Wayfinder cannot provide any personal information regarding the user or the account (including user name and password) to any family member, next of kin or legal representative without an order from a court of competent jurisdiction compelling Project Wayfinder to do so.
Children's Online Privacy Protection Act
The Children's Online Privacy Protection Act ("COPPA") requires that we inform parents and legal guardians about how we collect, use, and disclose personal information from children under 13 years of age, and that we obtain the consent of parents and guardians in order for children under 13 years of age to use certain features of our website. Project Wayfinder does not collect any information from children under the age of 13 and provides Services only to educators and educational organizations.
