Caroline Bonner

Caroline is a bilingual language educator who taught for 10 years in Washington state and Santiago, Chile. She is passionate about mentoring young adults as they grow and prepare to be thoughtful global citizens. During her time in Chile, she taught the Wayfinder curriculum to high schoolers and served as the Wayfinder Coordinator at her school for two years. As an educator with a philosophy centered on the importance of social-emotional learning, she felt immediately connected to Wayfinder’s vision. She has found deep meaning and purpose in connecting with cultures both globally and also the layers of culture we all hold within ourselves. After a recent transition, Caroline is now leveraging her SEL roots to aid others in overcoming debt due to unexpected life events. She believes in the inherent worth of all people and seeks to combat economic and educational disparities across cultures. Originally from the Pacific Northwest, Caroline holds a BA in Spanish, TESOL, and bilingual education from Western Washington University.
